The short version: Cordia does not collect, store, or transmit anything you type. Translation happens entirely on your iPhone using Apple's on-device Translation framework. Cordia has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics.
When you use the Cordia keyboard, the English you type is passed to Apple's on-device translation model to produce the translation and word meanings shown above the keys. This processing happens locally on your device. Nothing is sent to Cordia or to any third party. Apple's Translation framework runs offline once a language pack is downloaded; downloading a language pack is handled by iOS, under Apple's privacy policy.
iOS requires Full Access for a keyboard to read settings saved by its companion app (your chosen language, learning mode, and the optional history toggle). Cordia uses Full Access only to read those settings from the shared container on your device, to play haptic feedback, and, if you tap the clipboard button, to read the message you copied so it can translate it for you. Cordia does not use Full Access to connect to the internet. Cordia contains no networking code.
As with every keyboard, iOS prevents Cordia from seeing what you type in password and secure fields.
If you turn on "Save history" in the app, finished sentences you translate are saved on your device only, so you can review them later and see your streak. This data never leaves your iPhone. You can clear it at any time from the History tab, and it is deleted when you delete the app.
Cordia Plus is an optional subscription sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment; Cordia never sees your payment details. Cordia checks your subscription status on-device through StoreKit and stores only whether Plus is active.
None. Cordia has no analytics, no crash reporting service, no advertising identifiers, and no accounts. The App Store "App Privacy" label for Cordia is "Data Not Collected".
Cordia does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
